Lynch Stays Unbeaten With 8-3 Win Over Lawyers
Lynch Toyota continued their unbeaten streak with a solid 8-3 victory
over the Lawyers tonight in a darkness shortened 5 inning contest. The
Lawyers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning to get off to a
good start. Lynch scored one in the 2nd and one in the 3rd to tie the
score after 3 at 2-2. It would have been more for Lynch but two fine
plays by left fielder Tommy Barret kept it tied. In the 4th, Lynch got
RBI hits from Stephanie Gurski (who always seems to beat the Lawyers)
and Alex Klimkoski to expand their lead to 5-2. Dan
Frattaroli closed the door on the Lawyers in the last as the darkness
set in.

No pitchers on either team went over 40 pitches. Ryan Dupuis and Leo Diana pitched very well and Tommy Barrett was great defensively in left field.

This was a really fun game to take part in with a lot of laughs from
both teams and coaches, good umpiring, good spirited baseball and a
badly needed breeze!! This game is the reason I coach. Congrats Lynch
and see you in the post season hopefully.

Any game where we hold "you know who" to 1 for 3, 1 rbi and 1 run scored
is a victory in my book!
